The Alto instrument is the middle range between Lead Soprano and Tenor. It is another 2.5 octave, 20 bar marimba, ranging from G2-C5.

Alto / Lead Soprano combo or Alto Lead

     Our clients are asking for more and more of these. This beautiful marimba has 23 bars, and covers a full 3 octaves, from G2-F5. We refer to it as the Alto Lead because it covers the range of both the Alto, on the low end, to the high end of the Lead Soprano. Cover the Alto and Lead Soprano range with less the cost of 2 instruments, and taking up less space. The Alto Lead and Tenor together cover 3.5 octaves and two instruments word very well together as a mini ensemble.
